Mayo manager McStay names team to play Tyrone

Mayo GAA manager Kevin McStay has named his side who take on Tyrone in Round 3 of the Allianz National Football League in Hastings MacHale Park on Sunday.

McStay has kept faith in 14 of the team who lost by ten points to arch rivals Galway in Round 2 of the Allianz League in Castlebar two weeks ago with Westport defender Eoghan McLaughlin replacing Sam Callinan in the starting 15. Stephen Coen will captain the team on the day.

Mayo are without a win in their first two games of this season's league with a defeat in the opening round against Dublin followed by a disappointing home loss to Galway.

Tyrone who are under the management of former Monaghan manager, Malachy O'Rourke visit Castlebar with a win and a loss to their name. They are expected to welcome back the Canavan brothers, Darragh and Ruairí, as well as the rest of the Errigal Ciarán contingent following their All-Ireland Club Final loss to Cuala last month.

The referee for Sunday's clash is Derry's Barry Cassidy with the throw-in at Hastings MacHale Park at 1.45pm.
