McStay names strong team for Sunday

David McBrien returns to the Mayo team for Sunday's big game

Ballaghaderreen's David McBrien returns from injury as Kevin McStay names a strong team for Sunday's opening round of the Allianz National Football League Division 1 against Galway in Pearse Stadium.
Knockmore's versatile netminder Colm Reape starts in goal. McBrien returns to the full back line alongside Jack Coyne and Westport's Rory Brickenden. Team captain Paddy Durcan, Ballina's Sam Callinan and Eoghan McLaughlin make up an exciting half-line, while the experienced Stephen Coen and Castlebar Mitchels' Bob Tuohy are named at midfield.

In attack, Aghamore's Fergal Boland makes a welcome return alongside Jack Carney and Jordan Flynn. The full-forward line is made up of Aidan O'Shea, Tommy Conroy from The Neale and Belmullet's Ryan O'Donoghue. 
Sean Hurson from Tyrone will ref the game.
