With prices on petrol, diesel, and green diesel on the rise, protests are bringing roads and motorways to a standstill

RESULTS: Do Mayo people agree with fuel protests causing road delays?

The fuel protests and the subsequent standstills on many roads have been the subject of much conversation across Mayo.

Whether it be the impact on supply or on travel times, the hike in petrol, diesel, and agricultural diesel prices has had a massive impact both in the county and beyond.

We asked our readers for their opinion on whether or not they agree with the protests which were seen from East to West in the county and remain nationwide, and the responses flowed in in their thousands.

Many chipped in to make their feelings known, and the results were unanimous.

A whopping 88 per cent of you have sided with the protests, while twelve per cent of you disagree with the protestors blocking roads and oil refineries.
