Public consultation on the Ballyhaunis Transport Study will take place at Ballyhaunis Community Hall on Tuesday, March 24
Residents and businesses in Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo are being encouraged to have their say on the future of transport in the town as part of a new study being prepared by Mayo County Council.
An in-person public consultation event will take place on Tuesday, March 24, from 4pm to 7pm at Ballyhaunis Community Hall.
The proposed Ballyhaunis Transport Study aims to address the mobility needs of people living, working and doing business in the area, with a focus on creating a more accessible, sustainable and vibrant town.
Key areas under consideration include improvements to street design, enhanced public transport options, and safer infrastructure for walking and cycling.
The study will build on existing plans and planning practices, while also taking into account community input, integration and long-term sustainability.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to review the proposals and provide feedback both at the consultation event and through the wider public display process.
