Met Éireann issues yellow weather warning for Mayo

The yellow wind warning will come into effect from 4pm Thursday and will run until 6am Friday.

Met Éireann has issued a Status yellow wind warning for Mayo. 

The warning will come into effect from 4pm today (Thursday November 27) and will be valid till 6am tomorrow (Friday November 28).

People travelling should take caution as conditions may be difficult to travel in while road users should take precaution around potential debris on roads.

Gale force and gusty southwesterly winds are expected while the warning has also been issued for County Donegal.
