The Lodge at Ashford Castle received positive reviews in the Condé Nast Traveler’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards.
The Lodge at Ashford Castle has yet again received top honours as the Mayo hotel was listed as the top venue in Ireland as part of the Condé Nast Traveler’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards.
The well-known venue in Cong on the shores of Lough Corrib is renowned across the country for their top-rate cuisine, hospitality, and plenty more besides, making it an ideal place for those looking to enjoy some much-needed rest and relaxation in the West of Ireland.
Now, the hotel had received plaudits on the world stage. Condé Nast, a British travel publication, runs an annual readers' choice award where they celebrate some of the top hotels, cuisines, countries, cities, spas, and more.
In the poll of their US readers, The Lodge at Ashford Castle was voted as the top hotel in the country.
Peter Fergus, General Manager at The Lodge at Ashford Castle, said of the award, “It is an honour to be named the top hotel in Ireland for any award, but what makes this one all the more cherished is that it was chosen by those whom we deem most important – our guests.
"This award wouldn’t be possible without the wonderful staff who show up every day for our guests. Their passion and commitment are visible for all to see, and this award is a testament to that.”
