How does nitrate pollution affect Mayo's rivers and lakes?

The Lough Carra Catchment Association are looking forward to welcoming Dr. Elaine McGoff, Head of Advocacy with An Taisce, as guest speaker at their next public meeting.

Dr. McGoff is a leading expert in freshwater ecology with extensive knowledge of how nitrate pollution affects Ireland’s rivers and lakes. 

There will also be updates from the Lough Carra Catchment Association and the Lough Carra LIFE Project. The meeting takes place on Monday, September 23 at 8pm in Carnacon Community Centre, and all are warmly invited to attend.
