Popular Belmullet restaurant MC's Bistro and Grill have revealed their intentions to close their doors to the people of Mayo for the final time this Saturday, August 23.
The popular eatery, which built a reputation among the people of North Mayo down through the years for its atmosphere and good food, announced its plans for closure on its Facebook page.

In the post, the Carter Square venue said that they were 'deeply saddened' to break the news to their online followers.
The restaurant also took the opportunity to thank its fantastic customers over the years, as well as any staff who helped to keep them going.
"We have a couple of days left to finish off our time here, so call in and enjoy the best breakfast, lunch, and brunch for one last time,' the statement concluded.
Many took to the comments to voice their sadness at the popular bistro's decision, with one person describing the closure as a 'huge loss to the town'.
Others wished those in charge of the shop all the best in their new ventures.
