Mayo passengers urged to check flights after Knock diversions

Ryanair flights from Girona/Barcelona and London Heathrow were diverted to Shannon and Dublin from Ireland Airport due to fog.

Those flying to and from Ireland West Airport Knock have been urged to monitor all channels after a pair of flights, which were due to land in Mayo, were forced to divert.

This morning (Monday, August 18), Ryanair’s 6.20 am London Heathrow to Knock was due to arrive at the airport at 7.50 am; however has been diverted east to Dublin Airport due to fog.

Fog has also impeded the plans for Ryanair’s inbound 7.10 am flight from Girona was scheduled to touch down at 8.50 am, but was instead diverted to Shannon Airport.

Any passengers either flying into or out of the airport are advised to keep an eye on the Ryanair app and website, as well as all Ireland West Airport Knock channels, for updates on the status of more flights.
