The R-325 Kilmovee/Loughglinn road in the townlands of Glentavraun and Sonvolaun will be closed for the durations of the works.
Mayo County Council have revealed that a significant portion of road just minutes from the Roscommon border will be closed for the upcoming week.
From Monday, August 25, at 8pm, the R-325 Kilmovee/Loughglinn road is set to be closed in order to facilitate pavement overlay works.

The works, taking place in the townlands of Glentavraun and Sonvolaun, will take place from 8pm to 6pm for five days, and will conclude on Friday, August 29.
Diversions will be in place throughout the duration of the works. Westbound traffic, in the direction of the N-83 and N-17, will be diverted down the N-83 and along the L-1906, while the N-83 and L-1906 will also be used for Eastbound traffic.
Emergency vehicles will also be permitted to access the route, if required.
