The Fleadh Cheoil is back! For the second year in a row, the world’s largest festival of Irish music, song and dance will be held in Wexford town. For eight days the streets will be bustling with performers, music lovers and those competing at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann. To compete at the All-Ireland finals in Wexford, one must first qualify through their province.
Over the course of this one-hour programme presenters Doireann Ní Ghlacáin and Peadar Ó Goill will travel the highways and byways, taking viewers on a trip across the four provincial finals in Ballinasloe, Drogheda, Cork city and Warrenpoint to catch up with some of our top and emerging musical talent.
Featured in the Connacht Fleadh are Bofield Céilí Band from County Mayo and the band Seoda which is made up of Mayo, Sligo and Roscommon natives.

TG4 is once again at the heart of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, bringing viewers and live audiences an exhilarating four nights of music, competition, and celebration direct from Wexford Town.
‘Fleadh25’ promises the very best of Irish and international folk music, broadcast from the TG4 TV Village from Thursday August 7 to Sunday August 10 at 9.30pm on TG4 and worldwide on www.TG4.ie.
