A group of Mayo cyclists will embark on a journey clocking up, close to 300km over two days of cycling.

The East2West cycle group began back in 2016 and over the years, has raised €120,000 for various important charities.

This year, the group will be aiming to raise money for three charities that are local to Louisburgh. All money raised will be donated to Louisburgh’s Men’s Shed, Louisburgh’s Meals on Wheels and NETS Neuro Endocrine Cancer.

The group of keen cyclists will start off at Crumlin Children’s Hospital, Dublin before heading off on their travels West to Louisburgh. The cycling will get under way on Friday, August 15, before completing the journey in the picturesque Mayo town on Saturday, August 16.

With all donations split between the three chosen charities, all support is greatly appreciated. You can donate by clicking here
