The delays will start on Thursday morning, with the stretch of road undergoing roadworks being worked on from 9 am to 4.30 pm each day

Delays expected until Monday as Mayo road undergoes resurfacing

The roadworks will be taking place on the R5652 at Knockboy, just outside Clogher

A stretch of road in Mayo is due to undergo resurfacing works, which are anticipated to be concluded on Monday.

In a statement, Mayo County Council confirmed that the L5632 at Knockboy, just outside Clogher, will be receiving the repairs starting tomorrow (Thursday, June 12) at 9 am. The roadworks will be in place until 4.30 pm, and will also run at the same times on Friday, June 13, and Monday, June 16 at the same times.

Delays are expected due to the roadworks, while Emergency vehicles will be accommodated if necessary.
