Post Office in North Mayo set to reopen

The Post Office is set to reopen on Monday May 26th

Mayo Senator, Mark Duffy has confirmed that the Post Office in Ballycastle will reopen.

Ballina native Duffy confirmed that the Post Office in North Mayo will reopen on Monday, May 26, after it was closed for a number of weeks due to technical difficulties.

“I received a number of representations from local residents who were very concerned about the temporary closure of the Post Office in Ballycastle. Having worked with An Post over the past few weeks I’m delighted to confirm that full service will resume next week.

Post Offices provide a range of essential services to towns and villages such as Ballycastle and it is critical that they remain open to ensure the economic and social wellbeing of those communities. I want to thank An Post for their help in resolving the issues involved”.
