The Mayo Diaspora turned out in force to support this year’s Mayo Day concert in Manchester. The free of charge event took place at the popular Farmers Arms music venue in the Burnage area of the city.

The concert on Saturday, May 3, featured Joe Keegan and his band. The event was supported by Mayo County Council, the Levenshulme Pub Company and Mayo Manchester Tourism and Business Group.

The Farmers Arms in Burnage was once the local of well known Oasis brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher who lived just around the corner from the bar. They actually share the owners' same Mayo roots.
