Mayo Disabled Persons Organisation to hold awareness events

Castlebar Library is one of five venues set to hold Mayo DPO talks on this Friday.

The Mayo Disabled Persons Organisation (Mayo DPO) are hosting multiple events tomorrow (Friday, April 25) in order to raise awareness of disabled people’s rights.

The events, which serve to highlight the role of the DPO in driving change in the community regarding access and inclusion, will take place in five different venues across the county.

Everyone is invited to attend the events, which get underway at 11am.

The locations are as follows:

Ballina Library

Belmullet Library

Castlebar Library

Claremorris Library

Westport Library
