The organisers of Ballinrobe Festival have organised a unique prize of a luxury €3,000 holiday as part of the fundraising draw for the popular Mayo event.
The draw, which costs €10 to enter, is distinctive in that the winner can choose to spend the four-figure fee on a trip to wherever they wish, whether it be a Caribbean cruise or a trip around Asia, the winner can select any destination they please.

The proceeds will be used to fund the running of the popular event, which runs from Saturday, July 19, to Sunday, July 27.
Pat Donnellan, a member of the Ballinrobe Festival Committee, spoke on his excitement at the interest in the draw.
“This is the first time a holiday giveaway like this has been tried, and we are excited to be taking it on,” he stated. “The proceeds go towards making the Ballinrobe Festival bigger than ever, but mostly we are looking forward to seeing who wins and who gets the fantastic prize of a once-in-a-lifetime trip.”
The winner of the draw will be announced during the festival. Tickets can be purchased here.
The people of Ballinrobe and beyond will be eagerly anticipating the week-long staple of the town’s calendar, including the Mike Denver Race Dance on Tuesday, July 22, and the traditional fireworks festival finale to close out the festivities.
