The Connemara crab dish served at Cullen's at the Cottage, set within the grounds of Ashford Castle
Mayo fine dining enthusiasts are set to return to the grounds of Ashford Castle this Summer, as one of the venue's most popular restaurants has reopened.
Cullen’s as the Cottage, a renowned South Mayo restaurant within Cong’s Ashford Castle, opened its doors once more today (Thursday, April 10).

The popular eatery locally sources many of the ingredients carefully integrated into their dishes, including Connemara oysters, Kinvarra lamb, and beef supplied by Martin Jennings, Ballinrobe.
Cullen’s regularly closes over the winter period. However, regulars can now rejoice as their strongly reviewed Connemara lobster and Martin Jennings rib-eye steak return to the menu.
Those wishing to book a table at the restaurant can do so here.
