The most recent National Pajama Day raised over €4,000 in Mayo alone
The people of Mayo have been recognised for their generosity by Early Childhood Ireland in the wake of raising thousands of euros during National Pyjama Day.
The event, which saw over 780 children in Early Years and School Age Care settings across the county take part, raised €4,000 for Sensational Kids, a group which works with those with sensory processing challenges.

Early Childhood Ireland’s CEO, Teresa Heeney, was blown away by the support of those in Mayo.
“We’re thrilled to announce the significant funds raised in Mayo during National Pyjama Day 2024, a campaign that continues to inspire generosity and community spirit,” she stated.
“These contributions will create lasting, positive change for children, and we’re immensely grateful to our members in Mayo for making the day so special for the children and their generous families.”
In total, since the start of National Pyjama Day in 2003, the people of Ireland have raised over €4.5 million has been raised for multiple charities supporting children across the country.
