Mayo children encouraged to complete unique skipping challenge

LauraLynn will be aiming to raise vital funds with their '100 Skips a Day in April' campaign

The children of Mayo are being challenged to complete 100 skips every day for the month of April.

The unique incentive, which is being run by Ireland’s Children’s Hospice, LauraLynn, aims to support children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

The aim will see the children who participate skip 3,000 times over the month while simultaneously raising crucial funds for the facility.

Those who are interested in participating in the event are encouraged to sign up here to receive their fundraising pack, including a skipping rope.

After that, those who register can generate an iDonate page to receive donations for the hospice here.

LauraLynn, now in its thirteenth year, provides symptom management, planned short breaks, crisis and end-of-life care, as well as family support and bereavement care to children with life-limiting conditions and their family units across Ireland.
