Mayo County Council have launched a fresh appeal for new lifeguards, as the March 6 deadline for applications fast approaches.
The roles, which come into effect for the 2025 Bathing Season, will see the successful applicants working over the Summer, from May 31 - September 14.
Lifeguards will be paid €16.88 per hour.
For the 15 weeks, lifeguards will be paid €9,874.80, providing they work the standard 39-hour week.
For the same period, the head lifeguard will be paid €18.91 per hour and €11,064 in total.
The full training course will run from April 12 - 18, while the renewal course will run on April 17 and 18.
