The increase of four is in the emergency department, up from last week's figure of 13. The number of those elsewhere waiting to be treated has remained at seventeen, representing an even split between the figures.
The facility, in Mayo's county town, has fallen to from fifth to sixth in the national rankings for those awaiting treatment, joint- with Letterkenny University Hospital and University Hospital Galway.
The jump in figures nationally has been significant also, in spite of the anticipated fall following the flu season's peak.

Four-hundred-and-fifty-seven of the 694 are in the emergency department waiting to be seen, while the remaining 237 are in wards elsewhere.
