Multiple groups in a Mayo town will be doing battle for the LipSync crown on Saturday evening, as Claremorris looks to raise money for a Community Recreational Centre.
All in all, 12 groups will be taking to the stage on February 22 in a joint fundraising event, including the town’s GAA club, veterinary centre, local radio station and the town's Ukrainian community.

They will be looking to entertain those in attendance at their own spin-off of the hit US tv show. So far, fundraising between the groups has topped €33,700 euros, with five days to go until the groups take to the stage.
Amongst the judges on the night will be renowned Irish drummer Ray Fean.
Some of the money generated on the night will also be donated to the project’s charity partner Sensational Kidsz, a charity who provide therapies and assessments for children with additional needs.
