THE Clann Machua Players from Kiltimagh will present their production of “The Snapper”, the acclaimed play by Dubliner Roddy Doyle, in Kiltimagh Town Hall Theatre on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this week (February 13-15) at 8pm nightly.

This is their 2025 entry for the drama festival circuit and will be their last performance before they hit the circuit trail in the weeks ahead. It is understood that this is the first production of The Snapper here in the western province.

Director, Rebecca Farrington, who is also a member of the cast, says there is major interest in the show this year. “The vibes are excellent and the cast has totally bought in the mood of the drama set in working class Dublin. We have plenty of the regular stalwarts as well as some new additions to the cast. Drama patrons are in for a real treat in Kiltimagh this week.”

Among the cast are Seamus Corry, Elaine Regan, Denis Charlton, Fiona Campbell, Sean Horan, Rebecca Farrington, Layla Carney, Finola Mellett, Siobhan Redmond and Dareen Godfrey.

Tickets are available online at Eventbrite and some will also be available at the door each night.
