With a proven track record of presenting top quality, live comedy in Mayo, the Linenhall Arts Centre is set to deliver a cracking line up this March, with its duo of standout gigs to extinguish the remaining winter blues.

First up, the hilarious Bernard O’Shea brings his ‘Desperate House Husband’ show to the stage on Friday, March 7. Well known for his riotous storytelling, sharp wit, and infectious energy, Bernard takes audiences on a laugh-out-loud journey into his chaotic life as a stay-at-home parent. Fans of O’Shea’s work in Irish television, on ‘Republic of Telly’ and ‘Bridget & Eamon’ among others, can expect his trademark charm and unfiltered insights into modern family life, and its trials and tribulations.

The ever-entertaining Karl Spain tells a story of how we got to where we are, at ‘The One Show,’ on Friday, March 14. A master of observational comedy, Karl’s sharp humour and quick wit have earned him a loyal fanbase across Ireland and beyond. Whether riffing on modern life, relationships, or the absurdities of everyday situations, Karl consistently leaves audiences in stitches. Regaled by The Sunday Times as ‘achingly funny’, this is a chance to catch one of Ireland’s finest comedians in action.
