TWO people were taken to Mayo University Hospital (MUH) following an explosion which occurred at a restaurant in Castlebar.
The suspected gas explosion occurred at the Tulsi Indian restaurant on Lower Charles Street in Castlebar yesterday evening (Sunday, January 26).
Two people were taken to MUH following injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Emergency services remained at the scene last night.
