New Mayo Garda receives prestigious award at Templemore graduation ceremony

Garda Clodagh McManamon from Newport recently graduated from Templemore Garda College and at the ceremony she was singled out for her team ethic during the first phase of her training.

Garda McManamon received the International Police Association Section Ireland Award in recognition of her being the most consistent team worker throughout Phase 1 of her training. She received the award from Commissioner Drew Harris, alongside An Taoiseach Simon Harris, TD; and the Minister for Justice, Helen McEntee, TD. Clodagh will now be stationed at Kevin Street Garda Station in Dublin.
