Cold snap is set to continue into Friday
Mayo County Council has assured the public that roads will be gritted this evening and tomorrow morning.
In a post on Facebook, the Council said.
"With road temperatures remaining low, our gritting teams will be out this evening (January 9th) and tomorrow morning (January 10th).
"Please exercise caution if making a journey on roads. View our Winter Maintenance Plan here: http://mayo.ie/Winter-Service-Plan"
