Western Care CEO issues Christmas message

Mary Boyd, CEO of Western Care Association, has said the organisation extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported them throughout 2024.

“I must extend a special thanks to our dedicated staff, supportive families, and the incredible volunteers and fundraisers who make a difference every day. 2024 has been a busy and productive year, and we’re delighted to announce the launch of two new day services in the New Year.”

Ms Boyd also issued an invitation to everyone to join Western Care for their Wren Day fundraiser in Castlebar, Westport and Newport on St Stephen's Day, December 26.

“This is a a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy lively performances from musicians and dancers while soaking up the festive atmosphere at the following times: The Square, Newport at 2pm; The Octagon, Westport at 2.55pm; Corrib Oil, Westport, at 3.30pm and Corrib Oil, Castlebar at 4.15pm.

“We wish everyone a peaceful and joyful Christmas,” concluded Ms Boyd.
