Castlebar twins design Christmas cards to fundraiser for MS Ireland

CHLOE and Ava Dillon from Knockaphunta in Castlebar have had their artwork featured in Christmas cards which will fundraise for MS Ireland (Multiple Sclerosis Ireland).

This year, the charity is selling two sets of cards, one of ‘traditional’ cards and the other, a set of cards with artwork by children - two of which were designed by Ava and Chloe.

Their designs were featured after they won an art competition held by MS Ireland asking youngsters around the country to come up with their own designs for a Christmas card.

The twins are first-year students at Davitt College, Castlebar. Their mother, Sharon, is a person with MS and a long-serving committee member of the South Mayo Branch of MS Ireland.

These and other Christmas cards are available to buy from Liam Cannon’s Fruit and Veg Shop and Castle Books, both in Castlebar, and from Ballintubber Store.

They can also be purchased online.
