Mayo County Council open applications for Levelling Access Artists Practice grant

Artists with disabilities situated in Mayo, Clare, or Galway City can now apply for the bursary

Applications are now open to artists with disabilities in the three counties

The Arts Service of Mayo County Council, Clare County Council, and Galway City Council have announced the launch of the Levelling Access Artists Practice Bursary.

The Arts Service of the three local authorities are now inviting applications for the Levelling Access Artists Practice Bursary from artists with disabilities, one in each local authority area. 

The bursary is open to professional artists with disabilities, who are residents of Clare, Mayo or Galway City, working in any art form and at any stage of their career.

The Bursary will support professional artists with disabilities to develop their practice, create new work or develop an artistic project with one award in each local authority area of €5000 plus specific access supports, resources and network opportunities.

Application forms and guidelines can be downloaded from each of the local authorities websites.

The deadline for receipt of applications is Tuesday, November 19.
