Rice College celebrate Leaving Cert 600 points club

Students and staff of Rice College in Westport were delighted to get-together recently to congratulate all their Leaving Certificate students on the fantastic results achieved in this year's exam.

After receiving their CAO offers, the students listed below visited the school in delight to announce and thank their teachers for their success on achieving over 600 points in their examinations and securing their college courses:

Leon Askin 600+ Points (Science, University College Dublin). Leon is the son of Declan and Emer Askin, Carrowbaun, Westport; Eoghan Johnston 600+ Points (Aeronautical Engineering, University of Limerick), Eoghan is the son of Donal and Donna Johnston from Sheeroe, Westport; Charlie Harburn 600+ Points (Engineering, University College Dublin), Charlie is the son of Frank and Sinead from The West Road, Westport; Fionn O’Hora, 625 Points (Actuary, University College Dublin) Fionn is the son of Kieran and Michelle O’Hora from Dooncastle, Westport; Michael Geraghty 600+ Points (Pharmacy, Trinity College Dublin), Michael is the son of Ciarán and Úna Geraghty, Killeencoff, Westport; Joseph O’Malley 600+ Points (Engineering, University College Dublin) Joseph is the son of Conor and Carol O’Malley, Kilmeena, Westport; Ciarán Lydon 600+ Points (Engineering University of Limerick), Ciarán is the son of John Joe and Ann, Liscarney, Westport. Everyone at the college wish all their students well in what ever rolls they take up after their time at school in Westport.
