Ballinrobe Community School is celebrating after 27 of their Leaving Certificate students secured over 500 points in their exams - including three who obtained the maximum score of 625 CAO points.
Julie Collins, Principal of Ballinrobe Community School, said the school were ‘incredibly proud’ of what the class of 2024 had achieved. One-hundred-and-ten students sat the exam in the South Mayo school this year.
“However, when a student achieves over 500 points, it truly deserves recognition. The commitment, hard work, and effort that went into securing such high results are commendable,” she stated.
Mrs Collins also took the opportunity to commend the dedicated staff of Ballinrobe Community School, acknowledging their role in helping each student reach their full potential.
“Our teachers have shown remarkable dedication in ensuring that every child is supported to achieve their best,” she noted.
