A mother and daughter who were killed in a road accident on the N26 between Foxford and Swinford will be laid to rest today (Saturday).
Aisling Moore and her daughter Abbigael Moore-Tournié will be laid to rest following their Funeral Mass today, (July 6) at 12 o’clock in Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Swinford.
Aisling and Abbigael were killed in a collision with a truck while travelling on the N26 on Tuesday.
Tributes have been paid to both from several community groups in both Kiltimagh and Swinford since their passing.
Large crowds attended their Swinford Cultural Centre yesterday evening, where their reposing took place.
Their Funeral Mass will be streamed live.
Aisling and Abbigael are survived by Abbigael’s father Arnaud, her half-sister Aleksia, her French grandparents Jean Yves and Michéle Tourniém, Aisling's parents Eamon and Noreen, brothers Eddie, Stephen and sister Anita, sisters-in-law Louise and Charline and brother-in-law Declan, nieces, nephews and all their extended and family, neighbours and friends.
