A well-known west Mayo postman has been wished well on his retirement from the company.
Liam Chambers had been working from the Westport Delivery Service Unit for the last fifteen years and his colleagues, past and present, gathered yesterday to wish him a fond farewell.
Westport Delivery Service Manger Ger Dawson presented Liam, from Glenhest in Newport, with a An Post Cuchulainn Statuette, and on behalf of the company and local colleagues, wished him well with his retirement.
