Suspect to appear in court in relation to Ballinrobe burglaries

A suspect is to appear in court today (Saturday) in relation to the burglary of two shops and county council buildings in Ballinrobe. 

The individual will appear before a special sitting of Castlebar District Court, where he will be charged in connection to the burglaries at Cummins Supervalu and Emo Oil filling station. 

The man will be charged in relation to a burglary of county council offices located on Ballinrobe's Kilmaine Road which occurred earlier this week. 

A file has been prepared by the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to all matters, a garda source told The Mayo News. 

A second man who was arrested in relation to the burglary of the two shops has been released from custody.
