The Mayo estate has renowned spa facilities
The spa at Ashford Castle has been named the second best spa in Ireland.
Betway's list emerged with the Cong castle sweeping second place.
The spa offers a luxury experience and has facilities such as a relaxation pool, as well as five exceptional treatment rooms, and many more for a full-day spa experience.
The Spa showcases remarkable design features, with three seashell chandeliers and a mesmerising 'Tree of Life' mural stretching the length of the relaxation pool.
The Spa was described by the business magazine, Forbes, as a ‘modern oasis’ designed to pamper you like royalty, and is the only hotel spa in the country to receive their five-Star ranking.
Adare Manor in Limerick nabbed the joint top spot along with Monart Spa in County Wexford.
The popularity of each spa was measured by a unique index score based on the number of hashtags and views each location has racked up on Instagram, as well as Trip Advisor rankings - with the lower the overall index score the higher the ranking.
