Popular Newfield Inn is among the nominees for Irish Business Awards
Nevins Newfield Inn near Mulranny has been named among several Mayo businesses nominated for the Irish Family Business Awards.
The popular West Mayo pub was nominated for the Innovative Family Business Award while other Mayo businesses received nominations across various other categories.
Chief among them was Ultrapure Laboratories in North Mayo, who received nominations for the Family Business CSR Award, Manufacturing & Engineering Family Business of The Year, Retail & Wholesale Family Business of the Year, Rising Star Award
Mescan Brewery was nominated for the Agri Family Business of The Year Award while O'Hara's of Foxford received a nomination for the Family Business Longevity Award.
There were three Mayo nominees for the Family Food and Drink Producer of the Year; Croagh Patrick Seafoods and Tours, Mescan Brewery and O’Hara’s of Foxford.
Outdoor Explorers Preschool in Castlebar also received a nomination in the Rising Star Award.
The Irish Family Business Awards, now in its fifth year, has become a highly anticipated event that recognises the dedication, innovation, and resilience of family-run enterprises across the nation.
This year, there were over 300 submissions from 130 companies across 22 diverse categories.
The winner will be chosen at a ceremony on Friday, November 3 in Dublin's Mansion House.
