Aran Island native Padraig Jack is set to perform in Matt Molloy’s Yard Bar on Thursday, September 25. The performance is in celebration of his latest single, ‘Father to Son’.
The singer-songwriter will released his latest single last Friday, September 18. Written by Barry Ronan, the track is the latest from Padraig’s second album, 'These Shores', released last October, which was produced by John Reynolds. The album features Anthony Thistlethwaite, Padraig’s siblings Cathal and Aisling, as well as his dad, Barry Ronan. Padraig will be supported on the night by Westport’s Triona Moogan.
Padraig Jack has played at prestigious national and international festivals, including Dublin Tradfest, Folk Alliance, Montreal, Canada, and Lorient Interceltic Festival in Brittany, France.
