Gearóid Farrelly returning to Mayo with new show

MAYO BOUND Irish comedian Gearóid Farrelly

Following Irish comedian Gearóid Farrelly’s hugely successful, sold-out ‘Glammer Hammer’ show in Westport Town Hall Theatre in March 2023 he returns to Westport with his new show, ‘Gearóid Rage’ which touches on the many, MANY things that make his blood boil.

Gearóid is a polished live performer with numerous TV and radio credits to his name, and he has supported the likes of Joanne McNally, Sarah McMillan and Patton Oswalt. One of the first Irish comedians to begin podcasting, he is the host of the popular ‘Fascinated’ show, in which he chats to people he was a big fan of as a teenager. His interviewees have included Grammy winners, Emmy winners, Oscar nominees, Eurovision winners, Tony winners, Politicians and Olympians.

Gearóid also co-hosts the five-star podcast ‘Agony Rants’ with Niamh Kavanagh, and the BBC Sounds podcast, ‘Who Replaced Avril Lavigne?’ with Joanne McNally. He is currently featuring on the new BBC Sounds podcast, ‘Did Furbys Spy On Us?’ with Joanne McNally – another hilarious look at crazy conspiracy theories.

Catch ‘Gearóid Rage’ at Westport Town Hall Theatre on November 8 at 8pm. Tickets are available from westporttheatre.com or from the theatre box office, which can be reached on 098 28459.
