You’ll all know that Call of Duty is the best-selling game of all time, having sold 7 million copies on the first day. Those who have Xbox LIVE will know all about the online side – and how it is unbelievably, completely addictive. Well, Infinity Ward has announced that it is releasing downloadable content for Xbox – and it’s out today. The PC and PS3 packs are scheduled for later this year.
You’ll find three all-new maps – ‘Bailout’, a multi-level apartment complex; ‘Storm’, an open industrial park littered with heavy machinery; and ‘Salvage’, a snowy junkyard fortified by stacked debris and crushed cars.
Two legendary fan-favourites from Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare also make a return: ‘Crash’, a war-torn urban environment, and ‘Overgrown’, which features a massive dry creek bed.
I’m looking forward to going home and playing it.
