Don Stiffe to appear in GrΡinne Mhaol show
GALWAY Singer and songwriter Don Stiffe returns to Mayo for one night only to perform with traditional Irish music song and dance show ‘The Legend of GrΡinne Mhaol’ on Wednesday, July 15, at Town Hall Westport Theatre.
Don’s passionate singing guarantees a most impressive performance in front of a live audience as those who have seen him perform in Ireland, Europe and the USA will testify.
A number of Don’s songs have been recorded by other artists, including ‘Grosse Isle’, which was recorded by SeΡn Keane, Kate Purcell and Danish Band, Moving Cloud. ‘Somebody Special’ was recorded by Matt Keane, and ‘Home in Time for Christmas’, was recorded by Cherish The Ladies.
The GrΡinne Mhaol Show producer Pierce O’Reilly said: “We are absolutely thrilled that Don Stiffe will be joining us, as his musical repertoire is recognised the world over. We are just delighted that he is available to come to Mayo for this once off performance.”
The show received a coveted TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award last week. “Winning the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is a true source of pride for the entire team at The Legend of GrΡinne Mhaol show and we would like to thank all of our past guests who took the time to complete a review on TripAdvisor,” added Mr O’ Reilly. “There is no greater seal of approval than being recognised by one’s customers. With the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence based on customer reviews, the accolade is a remarkable vote of confidence to our show and our continued commitment to excellence.”
The ‘The Legend of GrΡinne Mhaol’ show runs every Sunday and Wednesday until the end of September. Tickets are available from the Town Hall Westport at 098 28459 or www.westporttheatre.com or www.grainnemhaol.com.
