Poet and songwriter Seamus Ruttledge from Knockmore, now living in Tuam, returns to Campbell’s Tavern, Headford, on Saturday, February 8, with The Full Outfit to perform ‘Elementary Chaos’, a mix of spoken word and music.
The themes of the show, which was first performed by The Full Outfit as the closer for Cúirt 2013, range from male stereotypes and international affairs, to lust and human glory. It was also performed at this year’s Electric Picnic, and it has already been booked in again for the  2014 festival.
Joining Seamus Ruttledge in Full Outfit are multi-instrumentalist Mr Willow Sea, who has been receiving serious attention from Donal Dineen and others since he released his first album; acclaimed vocalist Michel Durham of the Galway Gospel Choir; Leo Moran on guitar and commentry; Jamie O Neill on percussion; and Pearse Doherty on bass. A host of special guests will also be taking part. MC for the evening will Paulo na Mona.
Doors open at 9pm; admission €8.
