A rising music star from Castlebar has secured a major international breakthrough after signing with leading European label Bamboo Artists.
Singer-songwriter Chris Cresham, originally from Mayo and now based in London, has made history as the label’s first-ever UK signing, marking a significant milestone in his growing career.
The deal comes following strong interest from multiple record labels, with Cresham ultimately choosing Bamboo Artists due to its global vision and expanding presence in both the UK and US markets.
Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Berlin, Bamboo Artists has quickly established itself as a major independent force in the European music industry. Its roster includes acts such as Bees & Honey, whose hit “Show Me Love” has amassed over half a billion streams, along with rising names like Panicbaby, Ski Aggu and 01099.
In the past six months alone, the label’s artists have collectively achieved more than one billion streams, alongside multiple chart-topping albums and several gold and platinum records.
By joining Bamboo Artists, Cresham becomes part of the largest independent music label, publisher and management company in the German-speaking region, further boosting his international profile.
