Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow wind warning for four Connacht counties and Donegal
People in Mayo are being advised to take extra precautions in the wake of a Status Yellow Wind Warning.
The weather advisory from Met Éireann comes into place at 12 midday tomorrow (Friday, April 10) and will last until 9 pm that evening.
Among the potential impacts cause by the strong and gusty southeast winds are difficult travelling conditions for commuters, as well as some fallen branches and trees in areas.
Mayo is among the five counties under the warning from the Irish meteorological service, along with Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo, and Galway.
