The airport says the rule change only applies to flights leaving, and has advised passengers to check restrictions on luggage at the airport they are returning from.

Ireland West Airport announced on its social media that passengers travelling from the airport are no longer limited to 100ml of liquids.

Passengers can now bring liquids in containers of up to 2 litres in their cabin bags and do not have to use plastic bags. 

Ireland West Airport says the rule change only applies to flights leaving the airport, and they have advised passengers to check restrictions on luggage at the airport they are returning from.
