Extensive flooding caused by Storm Amy has forced Kylemore Abbey to close its doors to tourists and visitors alike until Saturday afternoon.
Approach roads to the iconic visitor attraction are currently flooded and the river has overflown into the carpark.
"The safety of our visitors and our team remains our top priority, and we will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so", Kylemore Abbey stated.

The Benedictine monastery welcomes over half a million visitors each year and has assured pre-booked ticket holders that they will be in contact to discuss their options.
The majority of visitors at this time of year would walk-ins and coach tours have already been contacted to organise alternative dates.
Apologising for any inconvenience caused, the Abbey urged interested parties to keep an eye on their social media pages for updates.
