Peggy McNamara, co-owner of The Mall Boutique in Westport, describes Jane Seymour as “such a lady.”

She laughs as she recalls a gentleman coming into her shop and asking if she was Peggy.

“So then I assumed I knew him, and I thought, 'Oh God, he must have been here before.'”

He told Peggy that Ann had sent him. Peggy assumed it was her sister Ann.

“So I shook his hand, and I gave him a hug because I was sure I knew him.”

The gentleman in question turned out to be John Zambetti and it was then that the Hollywood actress walked into the shop.

Peggy said, “Well, you look like somebody famous.”

Fortunately, her sister Deirdre came to the rescue and instantly recognised the star of Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman.

Peggy tells The Mayo News that the celebrity visitor to her shop was “just fabulous” and was really kind in taking photos with them outside her shop.
