A protest will take place this coming Monday, July 14, at 11am at the Uisce Éireann Corporate office in Castlebar Unit 6, N5 Business Park, Moneenbradagh, Castlebar, Co. Mayo.

The protest will be led by West Mayo councillors, elected representatives, Newport Sewage Concern Group and members of the Newport community to highlight the non delivery of the much promised Newport Sewerage Treatment Plant.

A letter will also be handed in to the Uisce Éireann offices. Cllr Brendan Mulroy has urged people to come out and support the Newport community on Monday, July 14. The Westport based councillor stated: “Enough is enough, it is way past time for delivery of this Sewerage treatment plant”.
