Details confirmed for Mayo side's exciting FAI Cup clash

The details for the second round fixtures of the FAI Men’s Cup have been confirmed today. 

After overcoming North End of Wexford in the opening round, Mayo kingpins, Castlebar Celtic have been drawn to host League Of Ireland side Longford Town. 

Castlebar Celtic manager Stevie Gavin enjoyed a spell with the midlands club as a player as now he's looking to get one over on them when they come to Celtic Park. It promises to be a hugely exciting occasion for Gavin and his Hoops.

Celtic Park will host the clash on Sunday July 20 with a kick off time of 5pm confirmed. 

Celtic are in fine form of late as they continue their 100% record in the Mayo Super League. Longford Town currently sit second from bottom in the second tier of Irish football. The visitors to Celtic Park have won the FAI Cup on two occasions in 2003 and 2004.

A large crowd is expected to pack into the town-centre stadium for what will be a very special occasion for the Mayo club.
